It pains me to say it but Carlton have assembled a very impressive list. They’re tearing the swans a new one after the swans slaughtered us last week. They’ve got blokes in their reserves that would romp into our seniors. How can we have such a mediocre list? Who do we hold responsible for assembling our motley crew? Dodoro? Campbell? There’s nothing in our reserves either. Success at best is years away…
To see Saad starring off half back pains me greatly too. They’ve got guns on every line.

I agree with what you’re saying… however we were ALL (the entire AFL community) picking holes right throughout Carlton’s list this time last year. We knew they had “potential” (dangerous word) but they looked extremely dysfunctional. We were considered to be in excellent shape to take the next step.
One year later and its all applause for Carlton and doom & gloom for us.
It can change very, very quickly. It’s a warning for us but also a great indication that the current outlook can be misleading.
