They arenât playing premiership footy yet IMO but you can see that have all the ingredients.
They look good when they are pushing sides around in the middle, when they lose control of the contest they are very very vulnerable. Theyâve had an easy draw and they have had a lot of roller coaster games, 3 of their close wins could easily have gone the other way. They best side theyâve played, Freo, handled then with ease. Theyâre playing finals with this draw and may even finish top 4. With a bit of luck theyâll get bounced in straight sets.Weâll see

They havenât got Melbourne or Richmond (when on) discipline yet
They are clearly not going to win the flag this year but this time next year & 2024 they will be right in the thick of contending.
I know as Dons we always like to look at the âglass half emptyâ with their performance but they are seriously looking good. They deserve to be where they are, forget the talk of fixtures etc.
Sydney wonât be winning the flag either this year but that sort of win tonight will inspire a LOT of confidence in Carlton for the rest of the season. They (Swans) are a tough team to play and beat.
I actually think this will be the undefeated year.

Go back to their time 1 game, they were minutes away from being blown away before outside did his hammy. They hit a very sweet run from the umps in the last. If the find kick straight in the last quarter in Rd 2 they lose. Hawks very nearly ran them down the next week. Gc then touched them up and port nearly ran them down the following week. Could have ready been zip and 5 instead of 4-1. Theyâve won tonight by getting on top in the middle for 1 quarter and very nearly got run down again. Theyâve beat up on weak opponents imo
