Ths is going to be a hell of a challenge for our young team. Whilst we showed some signs against GWS ultimately we went down by 14 points, whilst Freo expertly dispatched the Hawks and are sitting pretty in 2nd position on the ladder with some saying they are a chance to win the flag this year..!! Not sure we will see too many changes - maybe OUT: Sharp, Farrow IN: Caldwell Tsatas

If they can bring the effort and intensity they did for the first 2and a half quarters of the Gold Coast game and the gws game we will have a good crack. We were the youngest team this week and the young players were the ones that stood up. Can’t ask more than that. Saying that if we could drop Brad I reckon we might get over the line.

Yeah I get Langford has been a bit hit and miss - especially up forward…

But he does add experience, is in the leadership group so Scott wont drop him, and he’s pretty reliable in defence so that’s hopefully where he plays this week…

Depends on reserves today but other players who could be in the mix for this game could be:

HAS, Gresham, Setters & Edwards

Nguyen needs to be doing a bit more, may need more time in VFL learning that small, defensive forward role.

If Huss has another good VFL match maybe a straight swap.

Have a red hot crack and see how close we can get to a genuine premiership fancy and then ‘manage’ the following week any player that offers a genuine threat to us beating Richmond.

We’re playing at home against a good team which means we won’t fire a shot, games over in the 2nd quarter and whole stadium empties out at 3 quarter time.

Freo are tough,talented and have way too much leg speed for us, could get messy imo.
