My most old man opinion is that the correct way for an AFL player to celebrate breaking the games record is to downplay it, say “it’s something I’ll probably reflect on after I retire, today I just want to help the boys win the game” and look slightly embarrassed getting chaired off. Special jumpers with gold numbers is NBA type ■■■■, I wonder if he ever played basketball.
