Next minute Larkey leads into space to honour a long kick in from Goldy. He slots it with ease.

I’d welcome Paddy Ryder back at the club. He’s had a pretty rough time of it from all accounts and the club failed him big time.
He himself holds no bad grudges and I don’t think any Essendon person would the other way around either.
In my eyes the EFC and the playing group have all moved on and it’s fantastic. The clouds have lifted.

Mummy gets a decent tap, a kick forward sees Himmelburg tap it down to Finnlayson who finishes off the good work with a classy left foot snap. The second time they have combined to good effect.
We have moved on and that’s one reason why I wouldn’t welcome Ryder back. The other reasons being his timing of announcing he was leaving and refusing to deal with anyone other than Port so that we got unders. At least Carlisle threatened to go to hawthorn if Saints didn’t play ball.

Roos have picked out Haynes 3 times already deep in the Norf forward line. They need to do better than that.

Ryder as I understand it had to get out of Melbourne and was set on Port because they had a good indigenous program.
I hated losing him, as much as JD,Hibberd and Houli but fair enough.
And yeah he handled it poorly but he was handling everything poorly at the time, he needed a circuit breaker.
No hard feelings from me, I’d buy Paddy Ryder a coffee if I met him at my local cafe.
Greene takes contested chest mark with better judgement. He is accurate. GWS get their third.

Dumont tackled high, gets a free given against him for HTB. Then to add insult to injury a 50m paid as well against Tarrant on Greene. Puts Ward on the goal line. Poor work by the chump, even though he was behind the players.
