Surely you’re allowed to man the mark. If the mark isn’t set you should be able to get to the mark
The concept of the ‘stand’ rule was understandable. It’s application and administration has been nothing short of shambolic and amateurish.

Apparently, if the comms are to be believed, there is a 10 metre rule. You cannot come from further than 10 metres to man the mark. That’s what the ump pinged him for.
Watching the replay is was borderline he was more than 10 away.
The ump was trigger happy.
