Round 16 Non-Essington Games

Carlton are playing very well with the amount of young guys they have in the team. Will hold them in very good stead for next year. Silvagni, Curnow, Fisher, Cunningham, SPS and a few others.
And we have blooded…McGrath? McNiece (barely).
Why wouldn’t we give Begley/Ridley/Francis/Mutch a game?

Carlton also have quite a few experienced players too

Something which seems to be overlooked when people talk about them

Sure. So do we. We have the right amount of experience that can accomodate the odd debutant every now and then, without upsetting the balance. But Worsfold is intent on playing old guys like Howlett and Hocking who won’t be on the list in 1-2 years. Geelong blooded (out of necessity) 3 newbies against GWS last week and barely skipped a beat.

Casboult is as good at marking as North are losing close games.

Hocking has played 1 game, Howlett 3. I doubt he is intent on playing them.

They’re going to play a preliminary at the Colosseum in Rome?

Should we then be scared of the doggies in 6 years time?

Yes, and I’m betting on the Christians. They’re due.

INTENT

Intent doesn’t matter in the AFL. Just damage.

We just haven’t had the injuries which give you the chance to blood young guys, and not enough players have had sustained poor form.

Simple remedy would be, if they take the 30 for a shot, then don’t take a shot, 30 secs gets added back onto the clock.

“Shot” being it goes through for a score?

No,… just shooting for goal, not passing.

Don’t give the Rules Committee ideas…

we got 14K to the game agianst GWS last year. the days of us picking ■■■■ on others crowd attendance are gone

Last year was under exceptional circumstances.
If North had half their side suspended they wouldn’t get 2,000 there
