Round 16 Non-Essington Games

The AFL has also been using Friday night football as a reward for the teams who have performed better in the previous year. Since the clubs who play home games at the MCG and can draw a crowd were mostly garbage last year (us, Collingwood, Carlton, Richmond) there’s hardly been a Friday night MCG game.

Not getting a gig

Probably keeping an eye on the niggling after Bevo’s comments.

Bevo needs to come up with a new role for him. Chuck him forward or in the guts. See how they tag him then.

No need to warn them off. If they break the rules, pay a free. If they don’t, don’t pay a free.

Part of a broader issue of umpires feeling the need to coach players rather than simply officiate the game.

Just pay a free or shut up.

I don’t get all the Bontomoelli hyp. What does he do that I’m supposed to be looking for?

How has Johannisen not been told to get a haircut.

On a wet night when almost every player is throwing the ball, it intrigues me when the umps randomly pick out a throwing free.

when he does that you can see the hype

Too old, too slow. Playing the younger players as they should

So Adelaide players can just drop the ball and not get penalised…

a team that’s been to a few prelims can play younger guys over a 300 game multiple B&F winner.
And we’re just here pulling our puds.
Ugh.

Were gonna win the flag didnt you know

At least the saga doesn’t take over every thread these days.

Tex just tried to murder JJ.

How was that not a free kick?

Because crows at home.

Shoved JJ head first into the goal post.

“Adelaide, up to 15 points - matches the big lead they had in the 2nd qtr.”

Bruce pls.
