I just rewatched it. Revolt wasn’t in the air when he was nudged. He felt the contact then leaped forward into air flailing his stupid arms wildly. Not a free kick.
You’re allowed to use your forearm to nudge grounded opponents. Or has that rule changed?
McClug involved 3 times in linking play from the HB line to the FP, after a chip pass to him, was hung too high in the air, allowing a Tiger to spoil.
For the only time probably ever for the rest of his career, I am OK with this happening tonight.
The alternative down the other end isn’t worth thinking about.
A shove is still a free kick if you are taking the the player out of the contest even if not using your hands, it is usually paid. That was a free kick imo.
