Probably more scoring shots cause they kicked a few out on the full!
You watch all these good teams and they all have hard/angry/aggressive players.
Who do we have that we can rely on to do that?
Devon seems to be the only one.
Credit where it’s due to port. The knock on them last year was they couldn’t beat good teams. First opportunity to show they’ve addressed it and they win away against sydney. I still hope they all eat bad food on the flight home and get food poisoning, but they’ve done what they had to do to show improvement.
That’s what I wanted to see from Essendon. To show that they have addressed their weaknesses and improved.
I haven’t watched any of that game, but what is with Rockliff only getting 9 possessions? Did he go off injured or is he playing full time forward?
the comes from a good family with leadership qualities protocol.

Think he was just no good.
Can’t wait to play Port in a couple of weeks.

we have dys “good guy” hepp…
devon and probably irish are the only 2 who would actively be aggressive towards the opposition.
goddard too, but I think his is more just general grumpyness.
Teams don’t fear us, cos why would they. prolly our best player gets knocked out last week, not 1 person made any sort of fuss.
It’s like a time warp back to 98, I know a different context, but we have gone back to a bag of marshmellows side.
Well sure, I guess you could just come out and say it directly.
how about when conor gave ballantyne a little nudge when he was on all fours to knock him over.
belly, stringer, hurley, bags, hooker, ambrose all dont take a backward step.
the games too fast for hard men though really.
speed kills.
the game kept going on merretts hit and it wasnt cheap.
is port in melb? god i hope so.

Lucky for us, it is!
We don’t travel until round 10 now.
Port will be good at any ground this year. This fixture is at Etihad.
We absolutely ripped them apart in the middle of last year… I would be very surprised if lightning strikes twice.
im not really thinking about port.
Essendon are a lot better in Melbourne.

I think it’s worth noting that they beat Sydney at the SCG last year as well.
It wasn’t too bad (but not enough). Screw Port.
They did, but I think sydney are a lot better at this stage of the year than they were at the same time last year. Time will tell.
They’re good at winning premierships that’s for sure.
