Agree with you. Itâs not rubbish that thatâs your opinion.
They donât need the frame in between to see that as per that motion the entire ball would have been over the line prior to the defender touching it.
And the bloody benefit of the doubt should go to the scoring team is these issuances.
You said it was a clear goal. It wasnât. Itâs very borderline. So much so thatâs too hard to tell on tv replays.
Correct call to go with the goal umpires decision imo.

The rule essentially is that the benefit of the doubt goes with the umpires call

You know what would fix it? Getting rid of the touched rule. But theyâd introduce thousand frame a second 8K infrared AI enhanced super video that costs a ten thousand dollars a minute to run before theyâd do that, obviously.
