we are realistically only competing with carlton and aside from the hawks they should win their last 2. we have to win all 3 which is very unlikely .
We were 6 points behind them and their fixture conceivably had them losing all 3, Lions, Freo, Dogs

Yep. FC and Dogs have smooth run ins in the last 2.
Freo have Geelong GWS and Port
If GWS dropped this, it gave us a few avenues between them and Freo.
Now we need Freo to lose to Geelong and GWS for any kind of chance.
Plus Carlton beating Hawks and Crows beating Doggies.
Essentially, not a lot of chance for us! But as Nino said, our own fault!
