We managed to keep the reigning premiers goal less for almost 50 minutes and dominated pretty much 3 quarters of footy (but failing to capitalise on the scoreboard), including a 3rd quarter of God like quality.

Which goes to show that dominating teams everywhere but the scoreboard is pointless.
On paper (which anyone can look good and things all go your way) we should win.
However the way we play, plays into the hands of Carlton, as they will have spare players in the backline to counteract our dominance in the contested winning ball aspects, and clearence work.
IF they don't blindly bomb the ball, we win, that simple.
IF they do, well we can and should still win, but it will give Carlton the sniff they need, and as others have brought up, in these games being the favourite isn't always the best thing.
