Melbourne had an opportunity late in the 4th when Garlett had possession after making his way into the attacking 50. Hogan didn’t lead but rather tried to slip out the back of his Richmond opponent. This put a lot of pressure on the Garlett kick and it resulted in a Richmond clearance. Hogan went crook at Garlett but you want your big forwards coming at you in that instance rather than doing what Hogan did. Reckon Garlett was hard done by and Hogan let his side down by not being more forthright in his positioning.
