We must have softened them up for the filth… cwood always seem to get teams the week after the opposition has travelled.
Interested to watch Rayner’s progress this year - Undoubted talent but he plays like a millionaire - He has a bit to learn.

All of Collingwood goals came so easy whereas Brisbane had to scrap for most of their goals. Their forwards took a lot of marks on the lead - nearly all their kicks were finding targets last night. Did they have a great night? Or did Brisbane fail to put enough pressure on their entries.
Last night, and last week, was nothing more than a young side getting their tails cut by better, more experienced opponents. Now the hype surrounding the Lions should dissipate to a degree.
Last 2 weeks Collingwood have played opponents coming off 5 day breaks. Next week we’ll be coming off 2 consecutive 6 day breaks while they have a full week. Luck of the draw eh?

Probably the same way we’re paying Stringer, Shiel, Smith, Saad, Stewart, etc who all were poached from other clubs I’d guess?
There’s a lot of reasons to despise Collingwood, from the free pass their president continually gets despite a level of racism that’s get anyone else in the industry sacked, to the armchair ride the afl always gives them with the fixture, etc etc etc. but ragging them for having too many high paid recruits nicked from other teams is a bit too pot kettle black for me tbh…
