Interestingly, considering the stadium opened 5 years ago and Richmond have been very good during that same time, the Tigers have never beaten West Coast at Optus Stadium.

When the ball is in their forwardline, Richmond seem to have a few players who will deliberately distance themselves from the contest. Assuming they win the contest, it’s an easy 15m kick to someone in space for an uncontested mark and a set shot.

It seems that when we play our players are too close to the contest, so all we can do is handball, which inevitably ends up at someone’s feet under pressure.
