This is genius. Hungary could antagonise Ukraine to the point where Ukraine fires the first shot, triggering article 5 and forcing Nato to attack Ukraine.

2/ Russia’s regular Zapad military exercise with Belarus is going ahead this autumn for the first time since 2021, mostly taking place on Belarussian soil. The 2023 exercise was cancelled, and it’s likely that the scale of the 2025 exercise will be limited due to the ongoing war.
3/ An appeal by the Combined Arms Army of the 2nd Leningrad Military District has illustrated the shortage of resources currently faced by the Russian military. A message apparently circulated on Telegram reads:
4/ "Hello, 
[supporters] of the combined arms army of the 2nd Leningrad district, I am contacting you.
The commander made a request to find camouflage nets and building materials for the state exercises “Zapad-2025”.
Please help me in any way possible."
5/ The prominent ‘Two Majors’ Telegram channel responds critically: “It is extremely infuriating when public assistance goes not to the front lines, but to headquarters/exercises/training.”
6/ "But even more impudent is the targeted request from the command to make a pretty appearance at the upcoming large-scale training exercises at the expense of volunteers.
7/ "Comrade commanders, exercises are needed for training. Including supplies.
If you include volunteer assistance [as a component] in war training, then it becomes really sad." /end
