Benny is using what could be described as a very rare past tense gerund.
More simply, he meant “trained” as in they got there by taking the train.

“We urge Russia for an unconditional 30-day ceasefire from Monday. With President Trump, we’ll fully support Ukraine, including tougher sanctions,” stated Friedrich Merz.
“If Putin doesn’t choose peace in Ukraine, there’ll be a response forcing Russia to the negotiating table,” warned Keir Starmer.
“This must be a ceasefire with monitoring around the control line, led by the US and the Coalition of the Willing,” said Emmanuel Macron.
