I’d suspect that at least a small portion of people ‘recruited’ into the Russian army are not there willingly. Do I think they deserve clemency? No, not at all.
I have no sympathy for the Russian army, supporters or its leaders. It is scourge that needs to be defeated and wiped from the earth. We should be doing many multitudes more to help Ukrainians rid them from their lands.

I agree. Wasn’t having a go at you. I have just seen the russians and their vatnik supporters frequently asserting the AFU is breaking the Geneva conventions and committing war crimes by killing unarmed soldiers. Soldiers who have usually thrown away their weapon just before they get hit by a drone…
