Right now, he’s not coaching well. This is being highlighted regularly by pundits in the media and more importantly by the damning statistics, especially regarding our defensive capabilities.
He has a solid big picture view on the club and it’s history and has done a good job in bringing that back into focus.
If he is to keep his job he has to show significant improvement in team structure and in-game responsiveness
Can he be a good coach? Yes, I believe so. But he has to grow a pair and start owning his decisions. He has to demand more from the players or be done with them. No more passengers.
