I hope we appoint him and give him the keys to whole fitness and rehabilitation program
Aceman should have got in Burgess ear at the Quantas Lounge thats what should have happened
Some of those comments could apply to Essendon - “content with losing” “coterie groups assume they are in a position of power” “injuries mounted up”.
How long til he’s gettin a payout for improper process from the Barham machine

Hopefully Brad
He’s responsible for this mess
He allegedly ordered the training to be ramped up
And?
I seem to be missing your point.

How dare he want the team to reach a professional level of fitness.
I don’t know anything about anybody in the sport fitness area. But I reserve the right to criticise the Club when they make an appointment on the new Head of Performance and Fitness.
Also noted the improvement came from cutting the injury prone players from the list, and that the group they were able to develop (rather than import in) did well.
Lol. They made the prelim by the skin of their teeth after winning the two previous finals by a kick each against very in accurate sides. Collingwood would have trounced them, but they didn’t make it because they ain’t much chop.
I dunno if there is much of a fitness person merry go round, but at least we’re front of the queue now by pulling the trigger before anyone else.
I wonder if he is meaning in terms of physical preparedness and list health?
More from the perspective of a fitness boss.
Hence why I am keenon Russell. Has experience with high performing clubs (Hawks and Port in their peak) and will implement right away (did at Carlton).
Watch him go all out.
How dare a coach demand high performance based off a report which indicated that our playing fitness and training was below the standards!

No surprise, I reported this on Wednesday. More sackings to come.
Elijah still wanting out ?
At this stage, yes. I am told there are some irreconcilable differences between him and the club and unless this can be fixed he is leaving.
Him and the club or him and the coach ?
We’ll probably end up with some third in line spud from North or StKilda.

Interesting his negative take on the review process too.
If we get Russell and it all turns to ■■■■ at least we’ll know he’ll spill the beans a year or two later and we’ll finally know what is happening behind the hangar doors (or his version of it).
