Sean Murphy - fitness muggins - well… bye

He was talking about another player.

Gotcha

Still that seems like a bad reason to not keep a player at the club. Just ban there parents if they are a problem.

I suspect Russell would be an excellent choice, as much from a cultural as a conditioning perspective. I’m less sure that Scott would abide a strong, independent voice telling him inconvenient truths.

Well yeah. its Ross Lyon. He’s an odd fellow to say the least.

For the record, two high level
appointments in Vozzo and Rosa were not plumping for the safe option.
Good chance this one will be a safe option but probably the right way to go about it.

This is one role where we 100% need to go with a safe option. Or perhaps we could go down the cutting edge supplements approach. You can’t get charged twice for the same crime, right?

How so?

Was the weapon ever actually bannned or suspended from working in the AFL? We should interview him for the lolz.

I mean, how would “football operations manager at Peel” be the safe option for a new list manager?

Once you establish that nobody of any actual note is interested in the role, appointing someone with less experience is hardly the height of risk-taking.

There’s a 50% chance that we will hire some from NM. The other 50% is an internal promotion.

We 100% should have a cutting edge supplements program.

I’m not sure of this is relevant but I recently tore a tendon in my arm and got referred to see a sports specialist. When I got the bill emailed to me it was from the Geelong football club. So me putting two and two together Geelong football club own this practice. Is this a way around the soft cap? And if so why aren’t we doing this?

If we hire another farking spud from Norf, all of Barham, Vozzo and Brad can go and get farked

If you are a player on Geelongs AFL list and this payment wasn’t reported in the soft cap, then yes! But otherwise no.

Don’t know about that. But at least he will be given a decent shot at it. He won’t get that here

No, it’s not the height of risk-taking. But there’s a scale from Stephen Wells safe to a stray dog you found on the street risky. Who would have been surprised if RFK got the job? That would have been a safe option. Almost anybody with recruiting experience at an AFL club would have been a safer option.

And I’m not saying it was some crazy out of the box thinking or whatever. We didn’t appoint a Texan auctioneer on the grounds they can spot cattle or some weird ■■■■, but there would be literally hundreds of people kicking around with safer CVs than Rosa. Of course Rosa had the jobs for the boys aspect going for him, but I’d say that’s easy rather than safe.

Who was the fitness guy when Brad was at north? I remember them having incredibly small injury lists around 2014/2015.
