Welcome to the jungle Sean
If this has been a problem for the last couple of years then I have real concerns about club management.
Surely one of the it ālearningsā that had to be learned out of the saga (and should have been fixed as the number one priority) was that strength and conditioning couldnāt live in a vacuum separate from medical and physio services.
And if I was running one of these things Iād have thought that neither of them could live separately from diet, wellbeing and personal development, recruitment, matchday and coaching, and management. (actually even IT needs to be involved with all of these departments, canāt leave the strength and conditioning or coaching people in charge of archiving key player info)
this guy is going to be awesome.
i canāt wait to be calling for his head by the third day of preseason.
Alfred E Newmanās brother
And before that reported in to Hamiltonā¦
Does this mean we are still to appoint someone to replace Crow.
Doesnāt sound like it if the two roles report into Richardson.
So does that mean Sean Murphy is doing both Turk and Crowes job rolled in to one without the medical component? and Rundle deals with the medical side? something doesent feel right about it
So Richardson is the new football and high performance manager?
No, somebody else internally filled Turkās role.
Wasnt he strength and conditioning coach though?
The guy obviously likes a challenge.
Welcome aboard.
Or found a needle in a haystack?
Dean Robinson was highly regarded too.
Yep. By Dean Robinson at the very least.
Did we thoroughly vet this guy?
Well the AFL would have had to give him the tick before he could come to us, so it should all be fi ā¦ ohhh, wait a sec ā¦
We finally got someone from Hawthorn so shush
Seriously, why are people getting so worked up? Whatās the worst that could happen?
So Carlton signed the Master and we signed the apprentice.
Hopefully, he brings all the secret from Clarkoās ways and keeps us fit and firing when the finals comes along.
