There is a silver lining here I feel.

I’ve always thought that North had taken the place of what we were going to do before the Saga hit.

There is a chance the Saga saved us from the frustrating situation of being good enough to reach a prelim, but not good enough to win a flag.

And now… We’ve started a very solid and promising rebuild of the list, while the Kangaroos are still topped up with old guys trying to ■■■■■ a flag they never had any right to aim for.

It’s gonna be an ugly fall for them over the next few years, and I’m quite comfortable with that.

We should have beaten North this year, and the harsh reality is that they really didn’t beat that much in their first 9 games.

Scott was always realistic saying that they needed twelve wins before they could think of finals, and they will be lucky to get past twelve. They may beat Sainters and Pies, but could lose both.

Over-rated team all year.
