Season 2018 - Collingwood

#41

When plays well, they win?

#42

Pies will be hoping that Daicos and Stephenson can add some flair and run through the midfield, which is one paced, they will be important when wells is on the sidelines. Pies must have some $$$ to offer Tom Lynch or even a handy defender to their list at the end of the year, its plain to see they need KPP. Carlton are a lot better stocked now after neglecting KPP for a decade.

It’s interesting that they have sucked ever since we got hit with the saga and they have been plagued by injuries since. Given the rumours maybe they over inflated their clubs S&C program and kept guys who were not that good but were able to mask it with and extra boost.

Bucks is a big part of the problem as well. He thinks a team of quality mids can mask anything. Pitty he can’t keep them on the park.

Wells injured?

  1. I’ll need to dig out my spreadsheet
  2. Who saw that coming?

#46

Off season specialist is JDG

Blew 0.095 apparently.

Can’t blame the dog this time! :stuck_out_tongue:

#47

My guess: he’ll cop a “very severe” club suspension that will see him miss the pre-season games but coincidentally end the day before their round 1 game.

Club statement

Collingwood’s Jordan De Goey has notified the club that he returned a blood alcohol reading of 0.095 per cent after a random breath test in Port Melbourne on Saturday night.

His driver licence was immediately suspended and he has been disqualified from obtaining a licence for the next six months.

Club officials will meet on Monday to determine how this matter will be addressed.

The club will make no further comment on this matter until a decision has been made.

#49

Collingwood sponsors Roadwise no doubt auggesting to the club that deGoey has been.Road Stupid. While another club sponsor CGU insurance asked the.club to insure itself from bad player behaviour. Another club.sponsor cellarmasters suggests players should drink at home.

#50

Career over?
Second offence in 12 months.
Knowing Eddie though he will probably be elevated into the leadership group

#51

I thought there were random bits of dirt on my screen, turns out they were just random full stops.

#52

Would only be career over if he was a borderline player. He is going to get a slap on the wrist followed by several fluff pieces and the whole club collectively hoping he will grow up

#53

Considering Bucks had been so keen to push out the brat pack types I can’t imagine this will go down well at all. Especially considering last years debacle where lied to club about being in fight whilst out drinking.
