Massive repercussions for AFL if they fail to cover it up, or attempt to cover it up and are found out.
No doubt huge crisis meeting of the head honchos will be /is being held over this issue, even if its a rumour.
Integrity of the competition is all about gambling and the repercussions of a failure of probity are potentialy huge.
Large betting companies could sue the AFL, or as is more likely the case, negotiate a massive cash payments due to competition being corrupt. As usual, will never go to court.
All the players are employed by the AFL. The tripartite contract proves this. So ultimately AFL have to carry responsibility. But of course Collingwood would be made the scapegoat. An enquiry will be held by the AFL who will conclude the corruption occurred at only one club.

last time there were ten players involved it was Hawthorn and they got an injunction which saved them.

Surely sportsbet will be talking to the AFL even if there is the slightest shred of credibility to it. It brings into question many games that sportsbet may have lost on.
So it’s got to the point of bans and nothing has leaked, yeah I call bullshit on this rumour.
