Season 2020 - Fremantle

To be fair, Kim Hagdorn said this. He’s got no idea, at all

AFL journo makes prediction about future of Jesse Hogan at Fremantle Dockers

Jesse Hogan may have played his last game for Fremantle. That’s the belief of 6PR football journalist Kim Hagdorn.

The 24-year-old is currently on a break from the club due to ongoing mental health issues, after managing just 12 games in his first year at the Dockers in 2019.

“My understanding is it’s getting close to that (cutting him loose),” Hagdorn said on Perth radio station 6PR this morning.

“Fremantle have to make some agreement with Jesse Hogan and his management and certainly (with) the AFL Players Association playing a part in it.

“It’s as high as the new coach Justin Longmuir with respect to some of the deputations and some of the discussions he’s had with some of his senior players.”

While Hogan could still suit up for round one, with Fremantle placing no timeline on the length of his break, Hagdorn believes negotiations will soon begin to release Hogan from his three-year deal.

“The decision looks as though it’s going to move towards Fremantle moving Jesse Hogan on,” Hagdorn.

“I don’t think Jesse Hogan will play for Fremantle again.

“He’s been on shaky grounds for (the) 12 months he’s been there.”

The 2020 season marks Hogan’s second year of his three-year deal after crossing from the Melbourne Demons in the 2018 off-season.

More ridiculous reporting on the opinion of some douchebag somewhere.

This sort of shitt is NOT News.

Summarised.

So Journo is probably a Eagles fan.

Good work by Freo. Even better work by the Essendon member that offered to cover the cost of the memberships. (and the Dogs member)

I know most people here don’t give a single fark about the competition outside of the Bombers which is fair enough but gee you’d hate to be a tall defender at Freo at the moment. Their backline is absolutely COOKED.

Alex Pearce would probably be first picked back there - he hasn’t played a game all year and doesn’t look likely to. Cooked ankle.

Joel Hamling is a premiership defender and a decent player. Cooked ankle as well.

Griffin Logue is a former top 10 selection and key tall who was finally showing a bit until he injured a toe and is now out for the year.

Hayden young was a top 10 pick last year and can play that 3rd tall defender/medium defender role. He was looking good until he did a syndesmosis on the weekend and is out for the year.

Hell, even Hogan can play back at a pinch and he’s also out for a few weeks at least with a calf.

They’ve had a torrid run with their talls.

Colyer to play KPD?

At this rate he’s half a chance lol

This is what happens when you name a team after a profession known for injured backs.

Hahahaha fair shout

Fremantle’s backline has been hit even harder than our forward line if that is even possible.

If you’re watching tonight’s game, look how hopelessly undersized they look down back.

Brennan Cox was a late out tonight. That means all these talls are unavailable:

Alex Pearce
Joel Hamling
Griffin Logue
Brennan Cox
Jesse Hogan can play back
Hayden Young.

COOOOKED
