Season 2020 - Western Bulldogs

Story circulating about a young player involved in a car accident and done DUI. Unconfirmed at this stage.

Confirmed. Lachie Hunter.

Car crashed into 4 parked vehicles in Middle Park and abandoned. Lachie found short time later nearby and blew twice the legal limit. Fined for breaking public health orders and facing multiple other charges.

Vice captain Hunter, apparently.

Hit four cars, fled scene, .123 BAC, charged per that and the damage and not staying the fark home.

EDIT: damnit. But shame on @choppsuey for not getting the catchphrase in, as I did.

Wow! What an idiot.

What a ■■■■■■■■

.123 is well boozed. especially for an elite professional athlete who wouldn’t like have the best ■■■■ fitness going around. He’d have been pretty wobbly.

Apparently he’s contacted the owners of the vehicles in question and left his details, so didn’t actually leave the scene.

Went to a friends house (stupid selfish ■■■■ stay the ■■■■ home) and had more drinks after the crash and will contend that he was totally fine when he crashed the car.

■■■■ him. ■■■■ him.

Plus they had to track him down to breath test him so was potentially a higher BAC at the time of the incident.

He’s arguing the opposite. Suggestion is he was fine at the time of the accident then went to a friend’s house and had a few drinks there which is why the BAC was high.

How did he know the owners of four parked vehicles?

Apparently door knocked the houses they were parked out front of, or close enough nearby. Smashing up 4 cars at 9pm would make a fair racket in an otherwise deserted suburban street, no doubt people came out to see what was happening.

Hahahahaha.

Oh yeah sure.

You’ve just clipped 4 cars, when we’re all not supposed to be out and about. So instead of calling the police, you go to a mates place and throw back quite a bit of booze while you wait for the cops to try and find you.

What a ■■■■■■■■. (Not you of course)

Even if what Lachie contends is true, it matters not. In the eyes of the law if you go and have a couple of drinks after accident and haven’t yet been breath tested then that counts towards your test. It’s stiff ■■■■. Something that literally everybody learns when they get there licence.

He will definitely contend the leaving the scene allegation on account of contacting the owners of the vehicles and leaving his details with them. Presumably that’s how the Police were able to catch up with him.

It’s ok. Gordon said it’s due to “the circumstances in which we live”. Poor Lachie. He’s not coping as well as the rest of us.

I wonder if it was a person at the club who gave him the advice to say he got drunk after the accident.
