Is it me or are they getting a lot of negative attention this week?
I find it interesting that a lot of the headlines are oddly familiar… stuff like “20 years of rubbish” “older players letting the younger ones down”, etc…
Not that I feel any sympathy, mind you. But just on a cursory level it seems like they are feeling a similar amount of angst.

It feels like the pressure that was on us 2018-20 has been directly transferred to them. Now we are on a clear rebuild, we won’t get as much negative headlines. We are playing kids, etc. They’ve signed 2 big money recruits and the assumption is that they’ll be a side that bolts into the finals. At best their performance have stagnated, at worst they’ve regressed. Either way they are no longer a rebuild team. Mind you across last year they consistently selected sides that were amongst the oldest and most experienced in the AFL, so this talk about them being a young team is a fallacy. FARK CARLTON!

10 games to go for Murphy to 300 is a helluva lot if he can’t raise his output.
They will probably use the SUB to get him there.
I wonder what we would do in a similar situation with a club great ?
I know Foulds limped to the line to 300, but difficult to remember if he looked as cooked 10 games out.
