Cool story. Truth is Essendon were keen and Ryder wasn’t.
He only said that after the cool reception he received.
Why would he tour the facilities if he wasn’t interested ?

if only they had got Matt, would have complemented Steele nicely.
Too vanilla for our needs. We are going places quickly, he would take too long to get there. There is nothing wrong with him as a player, there is just nothing there to say that he stands out.
Get Hind and forget them
Matt Crouch is one of the most over rated players in the game.
Does not hurt with his disposals.
Every one is a safe 35-40m pass.
Never takes the game on.
Never takes risks.
