Season 2021 - Western Bulldogs

I thought it was weird at the time, but jeez…that is absolutely pissweak from the dogs players to not even go over and check on him. Even JJ seemed like he did it just because he happened to be nearby

Never seen anything like it at any level of footy.

I have to confess that Josh Bruce is a relative by marriage, cousin to my Son-in-law. Never met him but the Family are all fantastic people.

Did the other WB players know it had happened or had they already walked off the ground? That’s the only explanation I can think of.

He did his knee in the last couple of seconds of the game.

As the siren goes players generally seek out opposition in their immediate vicinity and shake hands.

Obviously the majority of his teammates didn’t realise what had happened.

Nothing more to it really.

screw the dogs and screw bontompelli

The Western Bulldogs are hopeful captain Marcus Bontempelli will play against Port Adelaide in Saturday night’s preliminary final, despite concerns over a knee injury.

But the Bulldogs will be without forward Cody Weightman, who has been ruled out with low-level concussion symptoms after being substituted out of Saturday night’s thrilling semi-final win over the Brisbane Lions.

Scans have cleared Bontempelli of structural damage to the right knee he injured in the last few minutes of the semi-final at the Gabba.

The Bulldogs will delay making a call on the fitness of the Brownlow Medal favourite until later this week.

“He does have some symptoms related to the injury,” Bulldogs head of sports medicine Chris Bell said.

“We’ll work with Marcus through the back end of this week to determine his availability.”

Did not see the game. Was Weightman hurt while leading with his head to milk a free?

At least Weightman met karma. Now for Kochie’s mob to end their season.

I am Dogs to win as a preference.

Who else would you rather?

It’s not a great set of choices but for me it’s: melbourne, dogs, geelong, league folds and no AFL is ever played again, planet killer meteor strike, port.
