Season 2022 - Brisbane

It was a comment about Clarkson and north.

He would have been told that he can either cooperatively agree to take some leave or be stood down by the club until its suitable for him to return. Results the same.

Apologies.
Clarkson not yet employed at Norf, so not a match with Fagan’s position ?

Brisbane statement saying Fagan has taken leave so he can fully cooperate with the investigation.

Yeah, that’s what I was saying. They’re not in a position to tell him to take a leave of absence or whatever, so all they can really do is say he won’t be starting at the club until the investigation is complete. Which may well be before he would start anyway.

That Cockney hard-man from Eastenders?

Sorry…that’s Danny Dyer.

the Bombers were smart in agreeing to jettison a player that rarely showed his best for them and one destined to infuriate fans in Queensland to a similar degree after his move north.

That’s a very sympathetic description of how it went down.

Agree with most of that article. Joe looked promising when he started with us, but is now a massive and chronic underachiever. He is afraid of contests.

Losing both Daniher and Orazio was seen as a disaster at the time. But wow… so WRONG.

Saad on the other hand? Not ideal but also hardly the end of the world.

We lost Joe and Saad for two of those early picks.
One seems okay with Perkins.
Reid and Cox are yet to prove themselves.
They have time on their side, but they are nowhere near what Saad and Daniher have achieved since being traded.

Don’t you hate it when your father figure tells you to break up with your girlfriend and focus on your career?

Considering Saad and Joe are in the prime of their careers and Cox and Reid are right at the beginning theirs, it’s no surprise really

I await this fair, impartial and independent investigative process relating to Chris Fagan with interest. Plus some.

And now you have Dunkley and Gunston saying they have confidence that Fagan is ok and are happy for him to coach them

Would Fagan?

Can you imagine how painful it must be to have this man called a ‘father figure’ by the club considering the allegations are that he was complicit in encouraging spouses to prevent players from becoming fathers?
