You are right, but Norf don’t need to tank. They have played the best they are going to play for 2024 over the last 3 weeks. They are just as likely now to revert to type and get hammered, again and again.

He was struggling big time to get a game and seemed out of favour with Clarkson.
But then a few weeks ago, he was played as a tagger and did really well on N. Daicos.
Has been playing since.

They made him a tagger at one point and played a half decent game. thats usually a sign that he tries hard, but hes not up for it. Reminds me of Dylan Clarke

Every day he stays coaching is another wasted day in a slow trudge to the inevitable.
He will only quit when he is ready, so the longer he lasts the better imo.

They have a ton of young pieces that can galvanise together and make a big leap. They are devoid of confidence and leadership and really need a center piece in the backline.
