Hes a great player, but agree quite overrated, sounds strange for a 22 year old, but I don’t see him going above the level he’s at now and is at risk of turning into a bit of a Tom Mitchell with his one twos

It’s not like the pies haven’t changed their system before. Dane Swan won in 2010 with 67 votes, Pendlebury won in 2015 with 169 votes, Cameron won this year with 328 votes.
That aside, the coach saying he’s not sure about the system which is literally the collingwood coaches voting. Just… vote for the player you want to win?

Former Collingwood player Shannon John Cox has been jailed after killing two elderly women in a head-on crash when driving with meth in his system.
Cox pleaded guilty to two counts of manslaughter over the fatal incident, when he was driving to collect his wife from prison and was sleep-deprived, the WA Supreme Court was told.
Cox was sentenced to 10 years and six months, and eligible for parole after serving eight years and six months. His driver’s licence was also disqualified for four years after his release from prison.
Maybe they should rename it the Josh Daicos Trophy

Can we just talk about how screwed their list looks. Nick Daicos turns 23 in January and was their 2nd youngest player in the finals - Ned Long who is 23 in Feb was the youngest. They have constantly brought in players to top up and hide the fact their draft record over the last 10 years is nothing short of pathetic.
Outside of father son (Daicos x 2) and academy players (Quaynor) they had 2 draft picks since 2014 that were regulars this year - Mihocek pick 22 in 2017 rookie draft and McCreery pick 40 in 2020. There are a couple of other picks still floating by around in the AFL - McMahon, Keane (Irish signing), Noble (mid season pick), Ginnivan (rookie draft) and Ollie Henry but boy it is horrible. Dodoro would be proud of that draft record.
