Can Freo even play Swans/Bears in the prelim unless someone loses a game on the way there. Top 2 can’t meet until the grand final unless someone loses a qualifying final.
The loser swaps over into the other side of the Draw.
Whoever loses week 1, then wins week 2 will play freo in week 3
First Freo in Perth and then Geelong a real possibility in a semi.
Straight sets would be wonderful.

Sydney won’t beat Freo. Brisbane might but that would mean Sydney had beaten Brisbane.
Can’t see either happening.

If they win a flag, would they even want Merrett?
Because the comp is set up for the best teams to get better.
They will get King for nothing, and Merrett for a pick they don’t need.
