I’m so happy my mum taught me how to use her sewing machine when I was a kid. I’m also mid 40s male.
Stitching was coming apart recently on the headsail of my 25ft trailer sailer and i was able to fix it with my entry level Elna. Hate to think what a sailmaker would charge. No shame in sewing.
