Some Swans have flocked up

They should’ve just stayed in their hotel rooms and emptied the mini bar.

Could not give a single incontinent dog stool about any of the players.

The poor victim has been through hell already regardless of the veracity of the allegations. Think about how this affects her life and her career. I doubt she’s on over $400k a year, with a significant enough profile to monetise after gives up her current career, whatever that may be. She’s probably going to have to endure whispers about being the victim of an assault in a fairly public case for the rest of her life.

So yeah, no sympathy for any player. No sympathy for any club. No sympathy for the league. They can all G A G F.

We don’t even know what happened though do we?

It’s his sanctimonious, holier-than-thou disposition. Typical Champagne socialist. Would be one of those ■■■■■ that drives an EV and will tell everyone about it.

I was reading on newscom.au that the girls got invited back to the hotel at 2am or whatever and obliged and then one complained she was touched inappropriately. Surely it couldn’t be just that if 6 or 8 cops showed up could it?

I reckon the media have gone really hard on this, I hope it’s not another Tanner Bruhn situation where the guys rep is flushed down the toilet before we know the full details.

Felt for Bruhn as he lost a whole year of AFL for something that was proven to be a false allegation as the complainant had made the whole story up.

Should get sent to jail if you’re found to have made a false accusation like that Bruhn case.

Dillon’s tweet suggests something happened. “The conduct and serious allegations regarding Sydney Swans players are deeply concerning”. He wouldn’t be that direct unless the AFL are pretty certain something happened.

Pretty hard to believe plain clothes detectives on site for the minor end of the spectrum.

Who knows what happened? Only the alleged victim and the player/s.
If it was cut and dry would they already be charged?

Waiting for the full facts applies in every direction.

Not just the accused.

If you need to pay girls for sexual contact, surely you would be respectful to the services offered, they have obviously broken the code what ever that is

With alcohol or drugs involved peoples memory of what occurred can become impaired. Nothing good happens after midnight is all too true.

Plenty of women out in force today on socials, including LinkedIn beating the drum complaining about bias coverage towards the impacts on the footy season and nothing for the alleged victim. And fair enough to a degree, but also they came from a presumption of guilt towards the players.

Most of the players have partners. They were only away for 1 night jeepers.

I’m stunned they would do this in season, especially as finals nears. Who knows, maybe it occurs (players staying out late at night after a game, not the alleged sexual assault) more often than we think?

Clearly these kind of antics are common place during road trips. All clubs will be on notice now. I have no doubt that Essendon players have partaken in similar off field activities during the season.
