Some Swans have flocked up

I agree. But the world has gone mad.

I run a relatively small accounting practice. We have to do AML/CTF checks all the time now for clients etc. Jacinta Allen can’t answer a question straight and should probably be in the slammer. It’s insulting. She’ll get a pension for life while the rest of us scramble for a crumb in an increasingly onerous and complex environment. It is what it is.

Not sure if this has been posted

the ruling class definatley live by a different set of rules . this is what makes Hanson appeal to so many at the moment , she has tapped into this visceral anger that exists . as much as I hate resent that , it’s the way it is . sports people and sporting bodies fit into the same elite category. they make and live largely by their own rules in a different world to the rest of us

So Tom morris knows the alleged perpetrator but won’t name him until charged by police.
Not ideal for the other 4 so collateral damage for a while and additional punishment for having a big night on the booze.
I do feel for the woman though as we don’t know who she is but I guess that’s by design.

they really are such a grubby and vile club. Hope the book is thrown at them, bunch of wankers

Has anyone mentioned the ‘no ■■■■■■■■ policy’ yet?

McGuire saying there will likely be suspensions going into finals but not sure how far into finals.

Agenda Setters mentioned a two game ban - which wasn’t well received by the panel.

Given Swans have a double chance, two games (including a dead rubber game this week) doesn’t seem adequate

Excuse me but you are talking about fkg Dillon who was a key player in stitching us up. That ■■■■■■■■ can’t be trusted

So, Swans officials were privately “filthy”. It turns out that filthy is, according to AI, graded mild when compared with seething while ropable is proper rage , apparently.
This is pretty serious so I reckon “privately ropable” would have been appropriate.

I wish people would stop talking about their ■■■■■■■ finals campaign. It’s irrelevant compared to the seriousness of what’s allegedly occurred.

Personally I’d just wait till it gets a result in the court system before throwing stones. Sure a 2 week ban and then privacy to allow things to take their correct course.

I’m surprised the AFL hasn’t blamed us for this because we played them and made them come to Melbourne

Is that a shirt or a jacket he’s wearing?

The article says it’s not suggesting Heaney did anything wrong, just that he spoke to police. This could be a massive incident or it could be nothing, the media wants it to be huge and the AFL want it to be small, and I don’t trust either of them.

I know it’s a hypothetical but what would the AFL do if Heeney was a favourite for the brownlow this year

They’d probably have a word ahead of time about being really careful

But what has allegedly occurred? An “incident”? No one knows anything at this point. I agree the investigation takes precedence over finals but plenty of people are quick to put the boot in when they know nothing.

If it was a club suspension he would still be eligible.

Hard to imagine there wouldn’t be some level of pressure on some umpires to recount a round to avoid the situation.

In fact, I am looking forward to some of that.
