If what I’ve heard is even remotely true then I suspect any club wanting any of these players might want to consult with their AFLW team. Sounds like the Swans AFLW had a say in these penalties to date

I reckon Brisbane, He would have relative annonymity from the media spotlight, and there is a family link to Fitzroy, Might still be good for us with our salary cap space as brisbane migh need to offload a player or 2 from their cap to get him

He will go to Brisbane and replace Zorko. The AFL will sign off on it as it keeps the northern clubs happy and they can spread the message of “he could have gone to Victoria, but chose Queensland because equalisation works etc. etc.”

Honestly don’t know if anyone really knows what happened but through my wife’s work she is in regular contact with senior Crows AFLW officials and they have said that the talk is the Swans AFLW team had voted to sit out games until action was taken and went to the Swans board which influenced the decision to stand them down

The interesting point on this is that if no one knows what happened how were the board members so moved to stand the players down from pressure from a party of people were not fully informed
