Honestly, that is a staggering level of incompetence.
Informing employees that pay is being withheld by email - without any prior consultation - would not fly at any organisation. It is a staggeringly bad way to treat your single most important resource. There is only around 40 of them - Xavier could have called them all personally in a day.
While Xavier remains at the helm, Brasher’s “review” is nothing but face saving nonsense.

This club is an absolute embarrassment.
The fact that Campbell and others such as the HR muppets thought it was ok to withhold player pay for any reason without directly speaking to the players tells you everything you need to know.

This will be the CEO’s call, and the board would have agreed to it (the deal that is). However it would be the CEO who was to communicate it and he didn’t do it well.
