Something seriously wrong with the club (Part 4, August 2024)

Why would anyone need to pay any of our players to underperform?

Maybe it’s not the players. It might explain Brad’s selection decisions.

That article implies that Stringer’s Muslim friend is the troublesome friend in question. If that is not the case, that article should make it clear, as it could affect that person’s reputation unfairly.

My mates that know Hind reckon he’s a very odd guy.

I’ve heard some stories which I’ve chosen to ignore and give him the benefit of the doubt.

Zero substance to any of the stories, other than third hand rumours.

I just hope he’s keeping himself out of trouble.

Wasn’t this a rumour posted a few weeks ago about some of Hind/Stringers friends?

Trying to recall what thread it was in.

I must have missed it. If you find it could you post the link please.

Been there, done that…around about 100 years ago when our players were paid to play dead against the then VFA premiers Footscray. Massive scandal at the time apparently.

They still train horses at Flemington, whereas they no longer train them at Caulfield.

Didn’t we look at the showgrounds at one point? That would’ve been the go.

Horse pooh might cover up the smell of the stuff they use when their hammys pop.

My bet is one of the Haddaras

Who was at a club sponsorship BBQ in December?

The hypocrisy

if they are worried about dodgy people in club rooms, why did they not kick up a fuss when the club allowed david evans back into the changerooms …

Horse training is done and dusted before our blokes get home from the nightclub. The 2 can coexist.

Essendon is the gift that keep on giving!

A.

AD would know all about those sorts of people, wouldn’t he? The lilly white AFL would never, ever, stand for anything untoward like that, would they? What a joke!

Love how some folks can’t hang with bikies/undesirables, but it’s a bleeding heart story when Dusty couldn’t see his scummy dad or have him there for the GF.

Good.
Achieving a sustained level of performance beyond mediocrity is the objective and playing in a big game like Anzac Day is more helpful in achieving it, than meekly surrendering that opportunity.
Getting thrashed on this day is hopefully a thing of the past and in recent years some of the spirit had been on display.

Finals coming up and trust Essendon to make it all about them again. What’s James up to I wonder.

They should start by not allowing the players in after some performances!
