couldn’t even make the top 10 is a perfect example why we are so poor and have been for years
These guys should be leading the way on the field, yet they give zilch
They should all be ashamed of themselves
It’s why we need a full leadership lobotomy.
Clear a portion of them out and bring in some role players from successful regimes who can drive standards and play supporting roles for the next two seasons as our youth gains some experience and we are in the position to target some free agents to round out our team.
Might sound a bit rough but I find McGrath when he speaks quite nauseating and completely uninspiring. Would hope that Sam Durham is given the captaincy as he has more ‘big dog’ energy. 
No idea if he can coach and for no reason at all I feel he was the wrong choice. However, I’m probably just conditioned to be pessimistic about anything EFC related. On the bright side he’s brought a bit of a C U in the NT vibe, which is welcome. However, pretending to be C is easy and being a C is hard to fake. If people detect you’re a fake C then your C-ism loses effectiveness. That is, you’re either a C or you aren’t. Despite being a bit of Sydney Private school pretty boy he didn’t mind a bit of niggle onfield back in the day. Let’s see if he walks the walk. I just want his C-ism to be indiscriminate and not just directed at the media for show. I have high hopes he can become a bigger C than Ross Lyon. At the very least that should be the benchmark.
So you’d rate him a C- at this point?
I think they all need a good uninterrupted pre-season.

Let’s pick one of our young brigade (Sharpe) and let him build a culture amongst his peers. (But preferably not fark wives of teammates)

What about ex-teammates?
Five of those plus Harry Jones made our top 10 in the B&F in 2024. Does that mean we were in a better state as a club then? I’m happier with the top 10 this year.
Fair point but very stiff putting Caldwell in that group. He was carrying this year
