I was at the G watching 2nd or 3rd last game 2016 season against Lions. Hipwood kicked 5. What different path these two clubs has taken. They are playing final footy for last 6 seasons.

Yes. Absolutely. Itā€™s everything in Essendonā€™s case. Every aspect of the club, poor decisions have been made throughout. Abd even with Dodo gone, poor decisions continue to be made. Development, fitness / conditioning, coaching along with list decisions continue to be sub optimal. Itā€™s a whole of club problem that I hoped had been largely addressed 12 months ago. Time will tell but I still donā€™t think the club is making the right decisions across the club to turn things around.

It is development. Itā€™s just that itā€™s not only development.

The whole development vs talent argument is, by now, utterly ridiculous when itā€™s clearly both. The question that needs to be asked is which is the more prominent factor? Whatā€™s the composition? 60% development, 40% talent? Other way around?

They payed Greg Swan a ā– ā– ā– ā–  load of money to move to queesnsland they probly payed Luke Hodge too to go over plus the draft concesions they got

Would Essendon get that kind of help hell no
