I don’t understand how recruiting is responsible for giving up 3-4 goals from slipping over. Also for basic errors from senior players like Martin, McKay, Reid, Ridley. The talent is there in each of those players but incredibly low IQ situations occur. That’s development and mindset not recruiting.
I’m not a dodoro fan but let’s at least hold those accountable that are actually responsible

In primary school, as i’ve recently learnt, some of the mottos they sprout are resilience, excellence etc etc.
primary school kids show more of those traits, than supposed professional athletes who get paid a ■■■■ ton of money.
how can only merrett and potentially 2-3 players be the only ones who show resilience when things aren’t going to plan ?
how can you go into yet another season looking so under prepared to a seriosu threat ?
how can half the 22 guys out there not be professional enough to not be able to stand upright cos of the ■■■■■■■ boots you’re wearing ?
This is their ■■■■■■■ job, and they look like they are a bunch of amatuers playing against a 4 time premiership side, instead of the young “tanking”
side.
kids aside, when you have guys like shiel, redman, mcgrath, ridley being the “senior” guys who are making the mistakes they do, what ■■■■■■■ chance do the young guys have.

Because they know what it takes to get success. They won 4 flags in the past 15 odd years. They know the recepie

It doesn’t take that long, it shouldn’t take that long, allowing it to take that long is just accepting of the failure.

The Dodoro mess is just a subset of the Peter Jackson mess. If he was doing his job properly he would have hired a real recruiter, not a white board holder.
We still have not recovered from the damage that Rsole caused the club.

Whilst I wholeheartedly agree with your assertion of Jackson I still can’t fathom why about a dozen different boards over the years kept him on and that not one of them really tried to move him on

Yes but that is a separate issue. Dodoro bad, Jackson worse. Still suffering from both
Like many of us, I’d love to have confidence with those currently in charge at the club, but they did decide to extend perennial panic merchants McGrath & Redman to long term contracts, let alone allow massimo go for long term players hepp & kelly.
