- The supporters turn up and do their bit.
- They go to training.
- They turn up at club functions.
- They give $$$ for all sorts of things.
- They sponsor players.
- They become members and drive up the membership numbers to make us a big club.
- They stood by the club and in fact grew for them during its very darkest period of the saga.
- They have for the most part not berated the players as they go through the race after another inexplicable loss. Maybe we should be more feral if that is what it means to show “passion”.
- The supporters don’t pick the side.
- They don’t move the players around during a game.
- They don’t, no matter how hard they wish it, kick the ball or handball it or run or chase.
Heppell tells us each week when they lose how disappointed the players are and they want to do better and be a winning side. No different to what the supporters want.
It has been a long time between genuine success for the club and the supporters. Long enough that the frustration is justified and we are allowed to ask when will we experience real success again.
Given what we do as supporters that is not being spineless - it’s about sharing in the goal to getting a flag. Which is what the club should be all about.
If the supporters can be blamed for anything then maybe it’s us being too understanding in accepting our “achievements” over the last 15 or so years.

Maybe we (supporters) are soft?
We dont berate the players when they go down the tunnel
We always sign up in records numbers
We always turn up for the games
Even in 2016 when the club failed the supporters and players we were there.
Maybe it’s time the supporters did “get a spine” and not financially support the club and attend games, maybe then we’ll see some action??

How many soft tissues in the last 3-4 years?
Sack the lot of them, and buy whoever is the best in the business…no matter the cost.
