Ellie, I am sorry to say that I have never been able to stand Ms Springfield’s voice. Like fingernails on a blackboard.

I’d like to like her, but I can’t stand her.

Wow…I am speechless.

I don’t think I ever heard anyone speak negatively about Dusty Springfield.

I’m glad to have been able to introduce you to a new, and I hope transcendent, experience.

I don’t dislike Dusty. I just can’t bear hearing her sing.

As they say, there’s no accounting for taste.

You like what you like.

I am often amused when I hear people say of others that they have β€œgreat taste”. Really, they are saying β€œthey like the same things as me”.

I personally quite like her slightly husky soul vocal, but others don’t have to agree!

I recently found an old disk with heaps of stuff, mainly guitar stuff, I haven’t listened to in years. A lot of Hendrix, Cream, Clapton, Allman Brothers Band, Steve Vai.
This song is a real journey, especially the insanely long drum solo.

Derek and The Dominos - Why Does Love Got To Be So Sad (Live)

Even more insane - A twenty minute song. But no doubt some of you guys have heard this over the years.
