Songs you haven't heard in years (Part 2)

Trying to figure out what it’s ripping off. I think it’s multiple 80s songs. Sounds too familiar.

The fixx one thing leads to another is first thing that comes to mind(great on tidal… and in general), but there’s another song from a vocal that I can’t put my finger on.

Incidentally, I’ve recently had a listen to one of their more recent albums (Kablammo), touted as a return to their earlier sound.
It’s actually ok… a few skips (like most of their albums) but some natty tunes on it… like this (chorus is a bit weak though IMO)…

It did occur to me though that they’ve kinda morphed into We Are Scientists. Quite a few mid-period WAS sounding tracks.

I also gave their 2nd album Nu-Clear Sounds a close listen for the first time in years. Boy, did they butcher that album… a lot of noise, but sorely lacking tunes…

Was just talking to someone about the gig at the palace in 93. Was just mayhem.

Actually found the gig on youtube.

Credit @Maxx for this track.

I definitely heard in the early 80’s, and that would be the last time until above poster mentioned it.

It’s catchy !

You’ve got the body now you want my soul.

I stumbled across this version of the song a while ago off ‘Live from Daryl’s House’.

It sounds good every time though…
