Killed every single genre of music they could get their hands on. I dunno if I have a favourite band but if I did itā€™d be these guys, theyā€™re special. Havenā€™t listened to The Pod in yonks.

Has done a fine job with his part of the ā€˜breakfastā€™ fill-in role. Normal programming resumes Monday.

Time for a piece of (not too bad) trash.

If you were alive at the time, thereā€™s not a chance you didnā€™t hear it!

Firstly, let me say this is the BEST thread on Blitz ever !
Yes, even better than the 2011 Elimination Final Match Day thread.
@Soulnetā€¦good work

Now for a song.
This one is a little more obscure as it was never released as a single, but easily my favourite Sting song.
Some clever mood changes throughout musically, and an amazing jazz solo between 2.10 - 3.47

Only listen to Joy Division when Iā€™m really in the mood these days, heavy content. This is the best version of this song. Recorded stuff lacked punch but this has it in spades, absolutely powerhouse builds up and Curtis ridiculous ā€˜dead fly danceā€™ is brilliant.

Well than have you heard this? Features the great Ry Cooder on guitar. This is from around the era you first got into the Stones.

Further to that, have you seen the movie? It is excellent.
