Sorry for not attending earlier — review beating the Saints in 2022

I was disappointed when Hobbs burnt him just outside 50m. I was ready to chalk up another goal.

Just went for a stroll through the match thread, especially that third quarter. What a pathetic bunch of pea hearted gutless supporters we have. You know who you are.

Took us half a season to stop ‘Stand’ ing on the mark and instead going outside 5 like every other team. Made a huge difference.

Not sure where McGrath was starting for the whole game but he gave some good run off the half back.

We have always had the wood on these pelicans. They are rubbish.

Best part about tonight was the 3rd QTR turnaround. Everything was going against us for about 15 minutes and I think a lot of us feared the worst but we didn’t let it matter.

Second best part is that it was guys like Caldwell, Perkins and Redman who were leading the way, not so much the older guys.

Must admit that St Kilda were at North/West Coast levels at times and really weren’t up for it. Anyone who thinks that tonight’s win was due to Parish not being in the team is utterly delusional.

Intent to move the ball and execution. Tonight’s improvement was all ball movement. Defence held up again.

Highlight of the night was Archie’s tackle on Ryder!
