Sorry Saga - “It’s actually quite funny people thinking they know more than they actually do”

My post is explicitly not related to the EFC 34 - I am surprised you can draw any other inference - Anyway as long as people think the sun shines out of Travis Tygart’s ■■■ and USADA then we have a problem - USADA is just as dirty as RUSADA.

Sorry, I did not mean it personally. My apologies. I just think that whatever we can do to expose WADA we should do and similarly we should use any any ‘allies’ we can.

People like Travis Tygart, NADO’s, IOC etc are enemies not allies.

Ironically USDA is probably one of the least powerful national doping organisations. It does not have the status of a government agency, but is dependent on USG funding. It has no power over the major US sports, which have not signed on to the Code. And the US government seemingly is not lending support to USADA on this issue.
ASADA has now come out with a media release , stating that it was one of the NADOs to urge WADA to take a different tack on Russia.
Perhaps ASADA, as a WADA signatory could also look to addressing other overdue reforms to the WADA system.
Not a peep from our Sport Minister, who belongs to the Oceania regional group, the only regional government group to vote against the WADA proposal.

I see the weapon’s brother has got the Roosters into the NRL grand final again.

I vaguely recall that the weapon was working for them now. Is that right or am I dreaming?

Still there, allegedly subject to strict conditions. He is still listed as a specialist advisor to KPMG. Back in June, he was recorded as an alumni in an interview for the Melbourne Business School, on the value of an MBA.

Wow and I thought he was just a dumb farker with no substance that threw every EFC person under the bus to save his own neck, go figure.

He is part of the “boys club.” Can name drop about certain well connected friends and their connections.

In return for his silence at what went on at GCS (and possibly at other clubs) got $1m, an MBA, parked at KPMG, allowed to ply his fitness trade after a year there. Pays better than a whistleblower.

Plus the $50k for peddling lies about Hird in the Luke Darcy interview.
Wonder how much Eddie paid Sarah.

I had a peek at his LinkedIn profile and he is a “Specialist Advisor” in Mergers & Acquisitions. I know this is old news and well known but I would love to hear the water cooler chit chat of those in the M&A division at KPMG who have been there since graduates to be reporting to a guy with absolutely zero financial experience.

It’s quite staggering to be honest.

If you need, go for it.

Nah, the moment has passed.

On the subject, though, had a quick talk with a colleague about die-hard supporters.
Mentioned that I considered myself pretty full on, but there’s another Essendon supporter at work that’s a bit embarrassing about it.

“'Oh, I dunno. You’re pretty full on. We had a discussion a little while ago where I thought, ‘woah…better back off.’”
“That wasn’t about football.”
“…oh. Right.”

Interesting. People will warn others about me…" Hoffy knows heaps about EFC but don’t discuss the SAGA, you’ll lose". I’m quite happy about that arrangement.

Hes with Sharks and is a Shark.

They probably respect him lol.

Allegedly?? You can criticise Tygart all you like, and some of it might be justified, but he is the Head of USADA the world’s biggest contributor to WADA’s budget. Like it or not he is very powerful. He is also held accountable to the U.S. Senate for his actions unlike in Australia where ASADA is independent. One only has to look at the roles played by Lundy, Ley and Hunt in the Essendon saga to understand how lack of true government oversight can allow vindictive ■■■■■■ like McDevitt to “go rogue” and sell out Australian citizens to a quasi-legal system that resides in a castle in Lausanne.

The evidence that is in the public domain indicates that the Russian State sponsored doping program has been in place since at least 2010. The depth and extent of the program is immense. And RUSADA and their WADA accredited laboratory have been leading the charge. I have not seen evidence that such a program exists within the realm of responsibility covered by USADA.

However I would be the first to admit that the anti-doping system worldwide is significantly broken. Regardless of what you think about Tygart, criticism of WADA from he and his peers can only place increasing pressure on decision makers to pull WADA into line or dissolve WADA completely and start again. One hopes the latter.

You can continue to PRAY that people within the World’s Anti-Doping Movement will show any interest in the EF34 - I am yet to see little movement in this regard and absolutely nothing from Tygart whose Agency goes soft on Americans who commit anti-doping violations and SPECIALISE in busting weekend warriors - Any movement will come from people outside of the Anti-Doping movement or those with the loosest of affiliations.
